Harbhajan Singh and his Habit of Making Suresh Raina his 'Bunny'


Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is proving to be a nightmare for Suresh Raina. Harbhajan has dismissed Raina five times in the Indian Premier League.
During an IPL 2017 match at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians off-spinner Harbhajan dismissed Gujarat Lions skipper Raina for the fifth time to achieve this feat. .
Harbhajan stuck in the 12th over to remove Raina, who was caught by Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma at cover point.
Indian turbunator Harbhajan has been associated with the Mumbai outfit since the beginning of the cash-rich league, while Raina spent eight seasons with the now-defunct Chennai Super Kings before joining Gujarat Lions last season.
Harbhajan has played 129 IPL matches, claiming 122 wickets. On the other hand, Raina has featured in 151 IPL matches, scoring 4,234 runs at an average of 34.14. The left-hander has one century and 29 half-centuries to his name.
Captain Rohit found some form going his way as he anchored Mumbai Indians to a six-wicket victory over Gujarat Lions on Sunday.
Chasing a tricky target of 177, skipper Rohit remained unbeaten on 40 off 29 balls with Mumbai Indians knocking off the target with three balls to spare.
The popular franchise maintained their pole position with four wins in five matches with the only defeat coming against Rising Pune Supergiant.
On the other hand, Gujarat Lions have now lost three out of their four games and are languishing at the second last position in the eight team table.
